So my last post was a while ago.. and well I decided that my roommate EP has a splendid idea with her blog and I am going to do the same.. I am going to start writing little tiddlies that are on my mind for the day, or whenever I feel a need to vent/post/write!
Today's little tiddlies are just an utd. on my life's little meaningless happenings... I am in my 3rd Semester of College at EAC.. and I am still just going through life like usual. I am working at R&R Pizza and can I just say that the way to make you hate eating something you love (like pizza) is a place that you have to make it.. I am taking 18 credit hours and they aren't bad at all. Children's Lit, Math, Developmental Psych, ASL, and Band are my schedule - so I'm not slammed like I was last semester.. which is a relief! The summer was good but I was super glad to find an APT and start the new semester in a different house (301) with different roommates (who are all AWESOME btw).
We picked Cambria up from her Mission in Pocatello, ID on Sept. 8th - we got to meet Pres. and Sis. Colton and enjoy a tasty dinner at their humble abode. While on the trip to pick her up we got to visit friends in Springville, UT, Logan, UT, and Rexburg, ID, we also stopped in a few of the areas she served in like, Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and Arco. It was pretty cool to see all the places she was able to go, and meet alot of the people who have investigated the gospel. I am so proud that she finished out strong and kept her chin up when the going got tough..
Since it's already half way through the semester and I haven't said much about it I will say that I have never been so happy to sweep and mop the kitchen floor - but as of Friday I was so glad to do it, is it sad that we haven't done either of those since we moved in.. Yuck! I hate doing the dishes - even more now that we have a dishwasher than when I didn't.. how hard is it to put away the clean ones and rinse and load with dirty ones.. seriously it isn't!! I'm SO grateful for roommates who help me clean when they feel a need to, it sure feels good to have a clean house.. I've heard it said that "A Clean house is a Happy home..." but I say "a Clean house is a Happy me!" I LOOOOOVE having a clean house - it's nice to come home and see that you don't have to pick anything up!!!
I am in Band, and I love it - only a little less than when I started... the reason why is because I feel like we have NO CLUE what we are doing, and I don't like that one bit! I feel that it should be alot cleaner cut and everyone should know what is going on.. Though I have met so many new friends being involved I feel like my enthusiasm has decreased slightly.. but we only have one more home football game and I plan on going CrAzY for it, I want to have TONS of energy and be happy and love it while it's here... Hopefully next year will be better with a pom and flag line... Yes I plan on doin pom line cause then I can dance! yay! SKADOOSH :)
I just watched 'How to Train Your Dragon' and I thought it was SO cute. I loved the music mostly - it was alot of Irish themes with bag pipes!! uh uh uh yeah! " Thank you for nothing, you useless reptile"!!!!

Wow, I cant believe a full year has gone past since my last blog.. Alot has happened which is probably why I havent kept everything posted on here.. So here is long, but short, summary of the past year.. I will try not to sugar coat anything!!
I went to prom with TJ Johnson, his sister Chelsey and her date Skyler Bagshaw. It was alot of fun!
I graduated in May! Go me!!
I went on a trip with Reed and Amy Flake (family friends) to Gallup, NM. Where a USTRC event was taking place, I had so much fun and I hope to get to go again!!
I returned home on June 7th so I could be home with my fam for my 18th B-day on the 8th.
I went to Big Lake with the Martinez family directly after that and enjoyed spending quality time with old friends!!
I decided to cut my hair the day we got back into Snowflake from Big Lake... BIGGEST mistake of my life!!
My summer job was nannying for a family down the road. I enjoyed it so much, and I had so much fun with Mackenzie, she is a wonderful little girl. We did alot of swimming and fun activities!
The first weekend of July was Girl Camp and Camp Lo Mia. I was a Jr. Leader.. which was pretty sweet cause we got to help out the leaders and cook with the cooks. Mom was there as a cook and Dad came as a Priesthood holder the final day before we left for Taylor.
For the 24th of July Pioneer Days in Snowflake I was invited to ride in the parade with my favorite group, the Golden West Cowgirls, I was so glad to be able to re-connect with all the lovely women!!
The end of July I got a new puppy and his name is Rebel!!
In August, my friend Camylle needed a visit from me.. SO I rode with my dad in the semi up to Springville, UT where I got to suprise Camylle and spend the evening and morning with her.
We went to this beautiful place up the canyon called, Bridle Veil Falls, and we played in the water and just talked.. Love you Mylle!!
These are my housemates.. from L to R Britney Kay, Wendy Wolslagel, Ashlee Ray and Me!!! This was our first dinner out, Britney's parents took us out to Casa Manana!
For Memorial Day weekend I went with my friends Jackson and Patrick Law to their cabin in Heber, AZ. I had so much fun with their family; baking, playing, and shopping at the local thrift shops.. They are the coolest!!
Britney is my roommate, we like to dress up for Spirit Day - which no one else supports.. go us!! Also we did random things like this all the time..
This is the group of friends from Mexico that always makes sure to let me know when there is a Latin dance going on. These small functions have found a way into my heart and I just LOVE going to them, I have so much fun, and everyone is so cool.. plus I must say that I have become very good at learning their dances!
I went to Winter Formal with a bunch of my friends from Mexico. It was a pretty fun night.
Mom and I on Christmas Day! She got a new camera, and we were playing around.. notice how black my hair is.. Yes i ruined it and had to dye it black again!! No worries though, it will be fixed!!
Rae turned 15 and we had a litte birthday party for her with some of her closest friends. (notice my hair is not black anymore)
This is my new roommate Tyra. She is from Eagar, AZ and is the best ever!! She is an amazing you lady, and we get along so well! Obviously she has a sense of humor.. which I love!
This is Trey Hart (driver) and Riley Coleman. (Passenger). I met Trey when RVHS came to Safford for their District CDE. My friend Makenzie Pepper introduced us, and we had a fun weekend. He is now one of my best friends and I enjoy every moment I get to spend with him.. Riley - I've known since FFA Convention in 08, we stayed in the same hotel and celebrated his birthday there.. :)
Tyra came home with me to go to my friend Brighten Peters mission farewell, he is serving in FL. and this is how we went to church.. haha dont worry we took what we didnt need off.. but I fully enjoy this memory!
Mom made Navajo Tacos, so the whole family came.. My best friend from home Jordy came and met my best friend from school - Tyra! I had such a good time bein home.. :)
Made a trip home and got to go to a AHSRA Rodeo with Jordy, she ran barrels and poles. I got to see old friends, meet new friends and enjoy the atmosphere I love most.
Tyras sister Heather came down during her spring break and we got to hang out for a whole week. we even had a bonfire at Red Knolls!!
SEE!!
So I went home for a weekend and Jordy, my best friend was home! I made her a memory box for Christmas but it didnt have a picture in it. These are just a few from a fun Sunday morning with my mom and her camera!
These chairs are so cool.. and we did a poor job of making a heart!! lol
We enjoy the hay!
A good place to sit and talk, especially if one of us is having a hard day.
The pasture.
Ha ha I get a laugh outta this one.. I love Jordy like a sister, and to my family she is practically a daughter.
For Easter weekend we went to Cliff, NM. We first stayed at our friends place on the T/J Ranch, which is right befor Mule Creek, NM. The ranch is on the AZ and NM side of the border.. sweet huh.
Did some shooting.. notice how we go shooting for alot of things.. Especially on Easter weekend..
Got to go out and Ride around the ranch.. That was alot of fun..
We spent the rest of the weekend with the Weeks family, we watched General Conference and got to go riding.. again.
on April 7th Ty and I went to Nogales, AZ for a trip with my Spanish class. We stopped by the San Xavier Mission (pictured above) and the Tucamcari Mission before heading to Nogales for some yummy food.
